A teacher identifies a gang member as the murderer of a 16-year-old schoolboy. That will cost her dearly. Gloria Abraham is a passionate high school teacher in the heart of Los Angeles. She is determined to ensure that her students do not slip into the criminal circuit. When a 16-year-old high school student is shot in cold blood during a botched drug deal, Gloria suspects that gang member Oscar Reyes is behind the murder. Oscar is suspected of six more murders and Gloria keeps her mouth shut for fear of retaliation. Her streetwise friend and colleague Daniel Rodriguez thinks this is a wise decision. When Oscar tries to intimidate her, Gloria goes to the police. When Gloria and Daniel are at school one Saturday with a group of delinquent students, Oscar and his gang are out for revenge.
