In this third part no surprising plots and an ingenious crack. This time it's about a well-thought-out sabotage of the opening of a hotel / casino. Again with the top cast from the previous two films. Al Pacino is now targeted as the casino manager. And he plays it with the necessary flair. The confrontation with Andia García is also great. Nice film,' but doesn't get the originality of the first film, because of the slightly simple modus operandi of the squat. But that doesn't make it any less amusing. Just like with the previous film, the resources used are far beyond and that typifies this franchise. All a bit far fetched and unbelievable. But this is Hollywood, where anything goes. Didn't bore me. Although it is the second time I see this film, I don't remember anything from the first time. It's been a few years though. Missed the feminine side of part two (Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones). A top performer in its genre.

And part 3, I have no idea what to expect because I've never seen it and although not very impressed by the previous two films, I will continue to complete the trilogy.

And hey...it's a repeat of moves although it's better than part two. The guys from Ocean have their pick on a hotelier Bank for private reasons and decide to strip it down despite a watertight network in terms of security, premises and games of chance. Not much new under the sun in that regard. And well ... in itself the revenge exercise is nicely shaped, it can be called smooth, the cast is large, as is known, this time supplemented by Pacino, there are a few very nice things in it, such as the man from the hotel inspection service and is Nice work again with Reiner.

And well, it's Soderbergh, so again that predictable and slow shot where all members are staring straight ahead in the light of the fireworks this time. And another fucking ugly shot of a landing plane with a shaky camera. It's almost a trademark. 'Was there an ugly recording in it? Yes. Oh...then it must have been Soderbergh.' Furthermore, the plot can be written down in such a way that you know it's going to be okay, so yes, it never gets really exciting. And Soderbergh also uses his 70s-esque soundtrack, something that is starting to get boring now.

And so part 3 is not a high flyer. But it's still a nice seat. It's better than part 2 without a doubt, but there isn't much to it either. I will never be a fan of the series or franchise and the name Soderbergh is starting to become more and more a reason to pass up films that are his.
