Don't be hatin'

There are those days when you just feel like watching a horribly idiotic movie that is sometimes so stupid for words that it actually becomes fun. So last night it was time for that kind of movie again and what could be better than a white man who is completely convinced that he is a Negro who can rap rock...

For the story you should not do it in these kinds of films because the most important thing in these kinds of films is the humor and that is quite good. Especially in the beginning of the movie but certainly towards the end (especially if he still thinks it's all a joke and starts shooting in true GTA style right away) Sometimes it drops in the middle what in, especially because the whole bagging of B-Rad no longer seems really innovative. It always comes down to about the same thing. The film's climax is pretty solid. Especially because suddenly a plethora of supporting characters appear, including Kal Penn who comes to rescue his buddy with a kind of rocket launcher who finally gets a harpoon shot in the hole by a fat woman with a harness on. ] Those three should have had a bigger role, by the way.

Usually the acting in these kind of movies is pretty depressing but it's not all that bad. Jamie Kennedy is good in his role of B-Rad and puts down an excellent Wigger. It's just a shame that eventually you really start to get annoyed by that idiotic head of his. Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson do have a few good moments here and there, but Diggs in particular is the lesser of the two, although the difference in his accents is quite good. Regina Hall, best known from Scary Movie, is quite annoying. Speaking of Scary Movie, there's another Wayans brother in this one. I really wonder how many those men are actually home with.

At least I wasn't bored.

3*

Normally I like this kind of movies and humor but this one is a bit below par.

Standard jokes and annoying characters and actors.

A film to quickly forget.

When I say Mali, you say Bu..... Mali......BOOOOOHHHHHH

In itself quite a funny comedy, although the story itself is not much. But still, the film contains enough humor to get through the running time. And in the end, the film doesn't even disappoint. Admittedly, Jamie Kennedy doesn't play his part very well and is extremely annoying, but the duo Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson do play their roles nicely. The freestyling in that club was quite funny, despite the lyrics being really cringe-inducing (I understand it was done with humor, but still). Also, the small supporting role of Terry Crews who suddenly appeared to be soft and wanted to call his dad after seeing Brad eventually align with his dad was nice.

Enough humor, but bland.
