"Live it up"
Mary's life has been defined by a series of temporary jobs and a half-hearted attempt to become a writer. But that changes when she comes home to find her boyfriend dead in front of the television. He is being cremated. She is having trouble getting rid of the ashes. Coincidentally, she also becomes bassist in a rock band. She develops a close relationship with the dog he left behind. Furthermore, there are awkward encounters with numerous ex-mistresses. Mary discovers that her boyfriend was hiding much more from her than she could imagine...
