Elstree Calling plot
A family tries to receive the broadcast of a variety show from the Elstree studios on their TV set. For example, a number of top numbers from the variety show from that time are preserved for eternity, including a number of songs that later made a big impression in films. Tommy Handley is the presenter who talks the nineteen songs together from a vaudeville theater. Among other things, a skit can be seen in which a 'wrong man' is murdered and Hitchcock's hand can be recognized.
