The eccentric but sweet and bumbling Mary Horowitz, crossword puzzle designer for the Sacramento Herald, is convinced that Steve, a cameraman at CCN, is her great love. She follows him across the country to convince him that they really belong together. Mary unwittingly finds herself in the news.

Also tried this film and I didn't think it was a bad film, but certainly not a top comedy, the film had too few jokes for that.
The cast certainly didn't do bad and the film does look away quickly.
Just a fun movie, nothing special, but nothing bad either.

You should be able to do more with this cast. You can count successful jokes on one hand. Chemistry between the cast is almost nil. Bullock's character is just annoying instead of funny. Only the end is so out of line that there is still something 'fun' to experience.
