"Yes, it's the howling sequel to "See Here, Private Hargrove""

During World War II, US Gunnery Corporal Marion Hargrove is finally stationed in France with his loyal friend Private Thomas Mulvehill. Unintentionally separated from their detachment, Hargrove and Mulvehill wander through a French village, where they are hailed as conquerors and heroes by the populace, before moving on to Paris a little later. Then Hargrove unexpectedly has to team up with his worst enemy, Sergeant Kramp, to prevent Mulvehill from being convicted of desertion.
