"In business, size matters"

Media giant Lionel Powers (Gabriel Byrne) and his competitor Julian Messenger (Ben Kingsley) argue over the purchase of a well-known American football team. The two arch-rivals clash so seriously that it escalates into an all-out media war. The rivalry between these two proud, strong personalities quickly turns personal as they create a web of blackmail and political intrigue for each other. That seems to ultimately lead to the destruction of themselves and their families.
