Poor.

As said before, an almost exact copy of the first part, where only the details have been played with. So I didn't like it much, I couldn't really appreciate part 1 either.

Don't think it's funny, way too much fuss and whining for a nice comedy. Galifianakis is also the only one who occasionally makes a comedic comment. Cooper (his character) is just never comical and Helms especially annoying. Not to mention bit parts like Chow. Definitely not my sense of humor.

The only thing that makes it slightly better than its predecessor is the setting, which looks a bit nicer. The eye-catcher of a second part that is no more than a simple cash-in of an already poor film.

1.5*

Nice sequel to the first Hangover. In itself, it should be little less than that and the story in Las Vegas is just loosely redone in Thailand, Bangkok. The nice thing about The hangover is that you are best "in" the film and that you can empathize with the characters or the situation. Not that we want to get involved in their mess ourselves, but you want to experience the atmosphere, debauchery and friendships yourself in real life. Even if only as a guilty pleasure.

Alan remains Alan, although it must be imposed that the pendulum does not swing too much towards the absurd (and thus becomes more silly than humorous). The fact is that the actors are well attuned to each other and have fun doing it.

Excellent sequel, pure entertaining, nothing more, nothing less.

The original “Hangover” movie wasn't up to par; this one is a lot less. All in all, it's a typical copy/paste case, where only a few characters and locations have been modified. Especially Alan (Zach Galifianakis) is again very annoying. Waste of my time.
