The Hangover plot

"Some guys just can't handle Vegas."

Two days before his wedding, Doug takes three friends to Las Vegas to throw a smashing bachelorette party. They party, but when they wake up the next morning they don't remember anything from the previous night. For some reason, they find a tiger in the shower and are stuck with a six-month-old baby. However, Doug is nowhere to be seen. A race against time ensues to make Doug appear in front of the altar in time.

It was a great movie.

I was able to show my teeth very regularly

only ... I thought the scene with the police officers and the children was so stupid and stupid!

Is that the job of a police?

But otherwise it was a nice movie to watch on netflix.

Since a long time, once again set up, and I still go for a 0.5* increase. The humor is flat, true, but The Hangover simply has so many bizarre and funny situations, characters and twists to offer, packed in a good hour and a half that flies by at lightning speed. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Galifianakis seem visibly into it and, most importantly, have great chemistry between them. Both Galifianakis and Ken Jeong are also genuinely funny here as Alan and Chow respectively (in the sequels, which are generally nothing anyway, the two are mainly used as gimmicks). The film also looks visually very beautiful and flashy, and the choice of music is not disturbing for a change, but very appropriate. It's a pity that the ending is disappointing, but that can't really spoil the fun anymore.

The sequels are very mediocre, but this first Hangover is just worth a big 4* for me; a really nice cast and a story full of bizarre situations makes this film a great comedy, which is genuinely funny in an over the top way. Very high review value too; it's still funny, even when you know what's coming.
