The Guru plot
"When he talks, women listen."
Indian dance teacher Ramu travels to New York, where he wants to become a movie star. He auditions for a part, but finds out that it is a porn movie with actress Sharonna. Despite her good advice, he is unable to properly "fill in" the role. But with the tips Sharonna gives him, Ramu eventually grows into a sex guru.

First of all, I thought the movie as a movie was a complete failure.
The only positive is the fun that radiates from the whole team. It all seems to have been a lot of fun, which gives the film a slightly touching face.
Unfortunately, it is rarely funny, very predictable and rather very poorly acted. 1.5* for fun, otherwise a very bad film.

Okay. Doesn't really bring much news and is easily forgotten, but did manage to bring a smile to my face every now and then during some musical moments and also looks away nicely.

Bollywood from America.
About the maximum amount of Bollywood content I can have, and the fact that it is just barely sustainable is mainly due to the fun that radiates from it. And perhaps the presence of the ladies Graham and Tomei will help even more. It certainly doesn't come from the story, too bland, too predictable and just a bit too well-behaved - some more sharp edges would have been very welcome.
