"How can you find each other when everyone is looking for you?"
Eddie Krumble is a relatively lucky guy. He and his friend Chris Plork have their first 'gig': attending commercials and TV shows so horrific that even tourists don't want to attend. Eddie spends long days clapping, laughing and hissing. His life begins to take shape when a relationship blossoms with Judy, who works at a gas station. But suddenly, his life is turned upside down when Jayme Stillerman shows two photos of Eddie in the audience during a late night show, and he is portrayed as a 'smasher'.
