Hawkeye had quite a bit of Christmas atmosphere and became a fun series. The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special is a whole lot skinnier than that. The characters weren't really my favorite Marvel characters anyway. The idea is liked, but the execution is not much special and really runs on the clichés without any surprises. Fans or Christmas fanatics will enjoy this.

Seen now. Incredibly fun trifle that was clearly done as a snack, and it shows in everything from costumes to props. Budget per scene is clearly a lot lower than in the 'real' movies.
That should not spoil the fun; for a Christmas special this is very nice and made with great pleasure.
The fact that the 'film' actually only lasts half an hour is just fun; then we can watch it a few more times before the year is out.

Almost as cringe-inducing (intentionally?) as the maligned Star Wars Holiday Special of yesteryear. Some nice moments here and there, but as this short special progresses everything gets very soggy and sentimental. That does not bode well for the upcoming third part of the series.
