The return of Taw Jackson is big news in the small town of Emmett. Three years ago, corrupt businessman Frank Pierce had him framed for a murder, which resulted in a 10-year prison term. During Taw's absence, Pierce stole his farm and land, which is rich in gold. With the rancher at large again for good behavior, Pierce fears for his profitable operation and asks gunfighter Lomax to take him out. But Lomax already has an assignment: together with Taw, the Indian Levi Walking Bear, explosives expert Billy Hyat and the old Wes Catlin, he will raid the armored car Pierce uses to transport the gold.
