Twins Rebecca and Cecil can't get along with their stepmother Marissa Cortez Wilson who is married to their father Wilbur, a reporter looking for spies. When the world is threatened by the Timekeeper, she is summoned again by the OSS to spring into action. With the end of the world in sight, the twins decide to put their differences aside and team up with Marissa to save the world.

Bad. No idea why this series keeps pushing itself like a weed, because none of the parts are really fun. Too childish and too blandly written. Especially the robot dog is wrong, but also some chase/fight scenes were too much of a good thing. Alba's presence makes up for a little, but not enough.

2.5*

While the first Spy Kids could still entertain me as a young kid, I don't think this 4th part can entertain even the smallest toddlers.

Without a doubt one of the worst children's films I've ever seen, even my godchild said after the film: that film was boring...

Marissa Wilson [Jessica Alba] leads a double life as a good mother to Rebecca [Rowan Blanchard] and Cecil [Mason Cook] and a top spy. She also happens to be in possession of the only thing that can prevent the mysterious “Time Keeper” from getting all the time in the world. Wilbur and Rebecca get a crash course in Spy Kids with the help of their dog Argonaut (voiced by Ricky Gervais) in this fast-paced and visually stunning sci-fi comedy that suffers from an overdose of infantile jokes focusing on what we expel through our orifices. Blanchard and Cook aren’t the most fun at home. Original Spy Kids [Carmen] Alexa PenaVega and Juni [Daryl Sabara] also make brief appearances.
