Never seen this one before. This sequel is all action. Rambo is dropped into the Vietnamese jungle to take pictures (yes take pictures!!! ) of prison camps that would still exist ten years after the end of the war. However, that is putting the cat with the milk; this wartime environment for Rambo is like an amusement park where he can fully indulge. The POWs need to be rescued and our friend has a rocket launcher on hand that will teach the Russians and the Viets about fireworks.
This sequel has a lot of cult status, but actually this is an unadulterated B-movie that resembles a glorified Cannon film. Didn't get bored but I liked the first one much better.

Rambo in top form
A real gem among action films, with an exciting story set in Vietnam.
Used to be one of my number 1 movies to rent from the video store, and that's for a good reason.
Because the great jungle locations provide lots of atmosphere.
The action is also brutal and multiple present, my favorite Rambo part remains

Re-watched today, it remains a very good Rambo film, even slightly better than the 1st part as there are a lot of deaths here and we also see a lot of explosions and good exciting scenes in Vietnam!
He could have easily lasted longer, on to a Rambo 3 review.
