The Secret Life of Pets plot
"Think this is what they do all day?"
Max lives in an apartment complex in Manhattan. However, his life as a favorite pet is turned upside down when his owner takes home a mongrel named Duke. When it turns out that cute white bunny Snowball is gathering an army of abandoned pets to take revenge on all the lucky pets, they have to put their fights aside for a while.

Excellent animation film about pets that go on a wild adventure. The movie looks great, and the story about cute and endearing pets suddenly roaming the big bad city works great. Just like the voices of the actors who are very well chosen. The humor is great especially in the beginning and you actually have a smile on your face the whole time.
The middle part is a bit less and it all gets a bit long-winded. The film is of course not realistic, but in the last part a lot is asked of the viewer's compliance. Driving pets, sure... But I enjoyed the fantasy and inspiration of the makers and the humor works great too. And in the end it even gets a bit emotional. That's what you get with sweet pets and the unbreakable bond with their owners. Aaaaah, we say.

They don't make them like that anymore.
I'm actually waiting for that day, but apparently America can't get enough of these kinds of movies. They've been producing the same shit for 20 years, each time with different animals and different voices, but the bottom line is always the same.
Voice acting is below average, the humor is very bland, technically okay but aesthetically not beautiful and it is all very busy. Like everyone is stuck on a sugar drip all the time. The story is also not much, although the premise was still funny. But of course nothing is done about it.
By the way, they also have a pet, so that's not the issue. Only funny moment is at the very beginning (the bird in front of the TV), the rest was one big torture.
