Borderland plot

"WILLIAM BOYD, the daring "Hopalong Cassidy" plays a lone game against the law!"

Government officials, or Rangers, are on both sides of the border in search of a band of outlaws, 'The Fox', who are believed to be led by a very serious criminal. They work out a plan whereby Hoppy is supposedly excluded from the Rangers and would now also be outside the law. When gangs of 'The Fox' shoot their own leader, renowned ex-Ranger Hoppy is recruited to replace him at the head of the gang.
