The Night They Came Home plot
"This is how the West was won."
The 1890s. Members of the local Creek tribe are bitter about being driven off their land and receiving many broken promises. They also resent that their children have to go to white schools to learn the language, culture and religion of the settlers. One of them, Rufus Buck, is brilliant, psychotic and charismatic enough to assemble a gang and start a campaign of murders, kidnappings and rapes. Grumpy old lawman Heck Thomas is assigned to capture Buck and his gang and put an end to their reign of terror. He reluctantly accepts the help of Native American peace officer Paden Tolbert.
