Good story that comes across as a revenge action during the second half of the film, where Robinson (strongly played by Wes Bentley) goes to carry out his plan against the protected Jimmy Dolan (strongly played by Christian Slater). Not extremely good, but pure evening filling and good entertainment!

3.5*

Nice thriller, but no more than that. The story is average, but is nicely portrayed by Beesley. Despite its simplicity, the film continues to fascinate. The ending is well thought out and the build-up to it is well worked out. Slater is comfortable in his role, but not a memorable bad guy. Visually, the film looks fine. Nice snack. 3.0

Film that I didn't expect much from and in the end was not too bad. As a spoiled reader of King, this can of course not be missed and I believe it is in the collection of stories Nightmares and Dream Landscapes, I must confess that I do not know much more about it. Not that this matters much because the story of Dolan's Cadillac is self-explanatory.

The film does not start particularly with Elizabeth's testimony. A situation that mainly drags on as saltless and cliché. Model couple, beautiful woman of course who is also pregnant, angry mobster who goes to extremes, and a witness protection case that lasts

No, the beginning is certainly not interesting despite the beautiful Emmanuelle Vaugier Robinson's collapse, nor even though Bentley doesn't even act really bad.

After all, it is the second phase, where he registers with the 'road crew', that the film gets a little more upbeat with a nice build-up to actually a very good finale that pulls the film to an acceptable level. Bentley is doing fine even though after American Beauty and The Four Feathers, bigger things seemed in store for him. Slater of course in place in terms of role and level to come back to the final and the psychological game played.

Dolan's Cadillac is far from a high-flyer, and halfway through I also have something like this, this becomes nothing and I find the real pulp classics from the 80s more entertaining. But Dolan's Cadillac certainly succeeds with its ending and pleasant playing time and manages to get enough out of it.
