"How well do you know your neighbors?"
Successful thirty-somethings Kate (Clémence Poésy) and Justin (Stephen Campbell Moore) are expecting their first baby. At first glance, everything seems perfect, but deep down, Kate doubts whether she is suitable as a mother. Another couple moves into the apartment below them: Jon (David Morrissey) and Teresa (Laura Birn), also expecting a child. Teresa is the opposite of Kate, she can't wait for her motherhood to start. The women become close friends until a tragic accident turns the lives of both couples into a nightmare.
