Suddenly plot
Four hitmen led by Baron pose as secret agents to enter the widow Ellen's home. Her home is an excellent sniper location for their plan to assassinate the president during his visit to the small town of Suddenly. The men manage to deceive the police except Todd. Todd is a former war hero and deputy sheriff but now a drunk. When he visits Ellen, Todd is immediately suspicious, but no one listens to him. When he realizes what is going on he kills an accomplice of Baron but is captured. He and Ellen will now have to find a way to stop the men before they kill the president.

Easily put together television film with far-fetched content and a lot of stupid decisions by the main characters. The main plus point within the world of Suddenly is that the acting is not bad, but of course you can expect that when you reinforce yourself with names like Ray Liotta, Dominic Purcell and Brendan Fletcher. Not exactly the most noteworthy names because they have (certainly recently) made a lot of unfortunate choices in their careers, but what they show here is nevertheless neat. It is a pity that director Uwe Boll does not have a grip on a certain degree of tension and/or atmosphere, which makes his film quite boring in the end. There is still a somewhat larger scene missing and the hostage situation lacks the necessary threat. Suddenly Boll probably seemed to be mainly concerned with the money and that is of course easily done when you have to realize these kinds of non-stories. To a certain extent it is all entertaining and solidly acted, but within 3 days it will have completely disappeared from your retina. The final phase does provide some unintended hilarity, for which an extra half a point.
