After visiting a scientist with a vague story about studying cosmic radiation and mutations, an American journalist suffers from a headache and pain in his neck.
Yuk!! Prof gave him an injection and now a second head is growing out of his neck!!
And that makes you quite aggressive...
The film kicks off fantastically with some failed experiments by the professional, but the middle section is a bit more sedate... and then builds up to a fantastic last half.
Nice make-up FX when there is an eye in the journalist's shoulder, otherwise the second head just dangles.
Nevertheless, once again a brilliant example of drive-in cinema for enthusiasts.

Quite a nice Japanese old school horror with a mad scientist who is the cause of a lot of disaster with his failed experiments. He clearly hasn't learned his lesson, because besides his brother and wife, he sees Larry as an ideal new guinea pig.

Nice, that Japanese atmosphere. There is enough attention to include the culture and Japanese customs in the film. However, you won't encounter too many Japanese people. It's all a bit wooden and a bit predictable by announcing through the sound that something is about to happen. But I did find it entertaining.

The comparison with Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde is not far-fetched. The effects of the monster itself are decent, but not great. Although there are much worse creations from that time. Nice!
