Ghost Whisperer plot

Young newlywed Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) has the unique gift of communicating with the spirits of the dead, a talent she inherited from her grandmother. The deceased ask Melinda for help to pass on important messages and information to the living. Melinda cares about these spirits, so despite her fears, she feels compelled to help them complete their business with the living so that they can find eternal rest.
