Autobiographical series loosely based on the real life of Awkwafina (Nora Lum, June 2, 1988) growing up in Queens, New York. In addition to her cousin, Nora is raised by her father and grandmother. She leans on her family as she navigates the suburbs of New York City as a young adult. She is unable to keep a steady job and can't take a break, mainly because she can't stop screwing things up for herself. And given the amount of weed she consumes, she doesn't seem to put too much effort into solving her problems.
