A Different World plot

In this spin-off of the hit sitcom 'The Cosby Show', Denise Huxtable begins her second year at Hillman, the university where her parents and grandfather also studied. She moves into Gilbert Hall and shares a room with twenty-six-year-old Jaleesa Vinson and chatty Maggie Lauten.
