The Good Cop plot

The Good Cop revolves around the cases that TJ Caruso's team must solve. TJ is a cop that almost every colleague immediately hates. He adheres to the letter of the law down to the millimeter, comes across as a bit nerdy and then also solves many cases. His father, Tony Carruso, has been a cop for years but ended up in prison after he was found to be corrupt. Tony is originally an Italian patser who wants to get out of bed with his quick chat or who wants to arrange the best for himself. It creates a special balance between father and son, with father increasingly interfering – unintentionally or not – in TJ's investigations.
