Auf Achse plot

The story is set in the colorful trucker world. Franz Meersdonk is a charming truck driver. He is the type of man with a heart of gold, a cuddly bear, who radiates strength. Together with Günther Willers, he transports freight all over the world. They always deliver their cargo safely and punctually to their destination. When problems arise, they usually have the right solution available. Whether the boss's company goes bankrupt, his own truck is stolen or there are problems with the police and customs abroad. Franz and Günther cannot be stopped, because they are old-fashioned truckers with their hearts in the right place.
