Trains between Kildare and Newbridge have been suspended due to an emergency this evening.

Emergency services are at the scene of a line-side fire on the route.

In other news, Irish Rail warned: "Services are still suspended between Lansdowne Rd/Bray stations due to a downed overhead line. DART services are operating between Malahide/Howth and Lansdowne Rd station. Services through the city centre will experience delays as a result."

Services restart but delays remain

Some services operating between Kildare/Newbridge are experiencing delays this evening due to an earlier stoppage caused by a fire near the line. Some services are operating approximately 50 minutes behind schedule as a result

Services still suspended between Lansdowne Road and Bray Stations

An Irish Rail spokesperson said: "Services remain suspended between Bray/Lansdowne Rd stations. DART operating Howth/Malahide and Lansdowne Rd station.

"Services through the city centre will experience delays and alterations as a result. Dublin Bus honouring tickets in affected area."

Train services suspended between Kildare and Newbridge due to line side fire

An Irish Rail spokesperson said: "Staff and emergency services are on-site of the line side fire. Services remain suspended between Kildare/Newbridge."

Broken-down car in Tallaght

There is a broken down car on the R113 Belgard Road. It's blocking the lights lane at the lights for Mayberry Road.

There are delays of 5 minutes from Bóthar Katharine Tynan.


Deer on the N11

There are reports of deer on the verge of the N11 northbound near Junction 8 Kilmacanogue.

Car breakdown on M1

There is a broken-down car as you exit the M1 for Lusk service area. It's on the hard shoulder but over the yellow line.
