Hay fever sufferers in Coventry and Warwickshire are being warned of 'very high' levels of pollen today. The Met Office said, in its latest local forecast, that 'very high levels of tree pollen are expected'.

It comes as the sunshine that soaked our area across the weekend is set to continue. In fact, it is going to get warmer as the week goes on.

Early indications are that the Mercury could top 20C this weekend. The temperature today is set to be 17C with 'strong April sunshine'.

A sunny end to the day and staying dry and clear this evening and overnight. Turning chilly with some frost in rural areas and isolated fog patches forming. Light winds. Minimum temperature 1C.

Any fog clearing readily in the strong April sunshine, then another dry and mostly sunny day with widespread blue skies. Feeling warm in the light winds. Maximum temperature 17C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Staying dry with warm and mainly sunny days, and quite chilly nights with rural frosts. Patchy low cloud or fog in places overnight and during the mornings. Light winds.
