Stadium Accessibility

Bolton Wanderers have an excellent reputation for ensuring all supporters enjoy their visits to the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Your match day experience is important to the Club. Our aim is to deliver access and inclusion for all.

Disabilities are wide-ranging and not always visible; the emphasis on removing barriers to ensure accessibility to services and facilities has changed the focus to enable you, where possible, to come to a match independently here at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Should you have any further questions, please contact Daniel Scott, Disability Liaison Officer by calling 01204 328 888 or email dscott@bwfc.co.uk.

Bolton Wanderers are proud to be working alongside the Bolton Wanderers Disabled Supporters Association in helping to make a positive difference to the matchday experience of following Bolton Wanderers for disabled supporters.

Tickets

Ticket prices are the same as standard prices for all supporters. Concessions apply for junior and senior tickets but not specifically for those with a disability.

Tickets for disabled supporters are available in both the North Stand Lower and the West Stand Lower tier.

Bolton Wanderers also offer the opportunity to watch the matches behind glass, out of the elements, in our UK Healthcare Suite, situated on Level 2 of the stadium, in between the North and East stand.

Should you require the assistance of a carer when you visit us, please let us know when booking your ticket. Your carers' ticket will be provided complimentary,

It will be helpful if you or your representative tell us of any specific needs you have at the time of purchasing a ticket for home and away matches. This is to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and located appropriately.

While Bolton Wanderers pride themselves on having a large number of disability spaces available, it is always advised to purchase as early as possible in the weeks leading up to the game of your choice to avoid disappointment.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Ticket Office or by calling 01204 328 888.

Tickets can be collected in store on the day of the game or posted if bought in advance. A mini-com and a loop system are also situated within the store.

Please note that those who act as carers must purchase a ticket when attending a match alone as the carers’ ticket will not be valid.

Carers should notify the stewards at the point of entry of their location in the ground in case help is required during your visit to the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

A Changing Places toilet provides sanitary accommodation for people with multiple and complex disabilities who cannot use a standard accessible toilet. With additional space and equipment, the facility is designed for people who need assistance to be changed.

Supporter Sensory Packs

sensory packs

In February, we were proud to launch Sensory Packs for all home matchdays at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, in conjunction with our Junior Whites.

At Bolton Wanderers, we strongly believe that football is for everyone and recognise that for select supporters, the matchday experience can be overwhelming. Therefore, alongside our Junior Whites, we are delighted to offer rentable Sensory Packs for supporters to help them show their support for Steven Schumacher and the lads moving forward.

The aim of the Sensory Packs is to help make matchdays more comfortable for supporters who experience sensory overload or have difficulties being in a loud or crowded environment.

The packs come in an official Wanderers drawstring bag and include a selection of the following items that have been carefully chosen to help fans self-regulate and ease anxiety:

  • Stress football
  • Football spinner
  • Fidget spinner
  • Crayon pack
  • Mini activity book
  • Pop-it
  • Football Maze Game
  • Magic slate
  • Stadium map

Please note that the contents of the packs will vary slightly.

Packs are free, but we do ask for a £10 cash deposit to be taken when the packs are collected, and this will be refunded after the pack is returned in full after the match.

We also have Wanderers ear defenders that can be rented for free from the BWFC Ticket Office with a £20 cash deposit.

If you would like to rent a pack for a match or ear defenders, please call 01204 328 888 or email tickets@bwfc.co.uk at least 48 hours prior to your home game of choice.

Accessible Passport

Launched at the start of the 2024/25 campaign, the Accessible Passport helps to address that not all disabilities are visible.

The passport contains a section for a supporter to describe how a BWFC steward could assist them if required, taking away any misunderstanding between them.

Bolton Wanderers has included the use of the accessible passport in their pre-match briefings to stewards ahead of all home matchdays. These passports are available from the ticket office, if you require one, at no added cost.
