Table 10.2 Marginal Effects. Presidential Election, 2012 This means the marginal effect is the change in probability when changing the values of “x”. Table 2 presents the results of the marginal effects on the different variables, with the socio-demographics and the civic culture dependent variables employed. The odd number columns contain the estimations of the effects on all the variables considered in the model, and the even number columns show only the effects of the variable “spaces” —different types of media—on the rest of the civic culture variables (dependent variables). For reasons of space we only discuss here the results of the model contained on the even number columns, where the effects of the “spaces” on the dependent variables are isolated.
