Study Programmes Bachelor in Engineering – Energy and Environment

Study and career opportunities

The Energy and Environment Engineering track of the Bachelor in Engineering (BENG) prepares students for a variety of professional functions in a wide range of industries requiring energy and environment engineering skills.
Graduates have career opportunities in engineering offices, in energy or environment companies, or in public administrations or may also pursue their studies at Master level.

    Learning Outcomes

Students undertaking the Bachelor in Engineering (BENG) have developed the necessary theoretical and technical skills to access various jobs in engineering companies, research institutions, and administrations. At the end of the Bachelor, students are able to:

    • Deploy engineering methods and tools
    • Understand underlying assumptions, correctly interpret results, and adapt methods to new contexts
    • Effectively apply relevant tools in the fields of engineering
    • Analyse complex problems from other engineering and technological fields, and plan strategies for their resolution
    • Demonstrate a broad understanding of the fundamental and specialised fields of engineering combined with the relevant computer-aided tools
    • Develop engineering models for complex mechanical systems
    • Address related knowledge domains and recognise interconnections
    • Communicate information accurately and effectively to an audience of experts and non-experts
    • Assess and discuss the risks of making a wrong decision based on available information
    • Express opinions based on engineering and ethical considerations.

    Study perspectives

Students can continue their studies within the Master en Sciences de l’ingénieur – Efficacité énergétique et économique or Master en Développement Durable – Energie et Environnement.
