Bishop: Strongly Agree. The number one concern on the minds of families and businesses in the district is the rising cost of healthcare. We need to work on reforms that will make healthcare affordable and accessible, and not by mandating a government-managed marketplace. We need to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with patient-centered reforms.

Guaranteed medical care is not a government responsibility

Transfer more existing Medicaid recipients into managed care programs.
Support a patient's right to sue his or her HMO.
Support a patient's right to appeal to a board of specialists when services are denied.
Guaranteed medical care to all citizens is not a responsibility of state government.
Allow health care providers and health care facilities to refuse services to which they morally object.
