Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced the launch of their 15th airport in Greece, with flights and holidays to Samos going on sale for summer 26.
The airline and operator will operate to the island from two UK airports – Manchester and Stansted – with both routes exclusive to the companies.
The new programme includes up to two weekly flights from Manchester between May 5 and October 30, 2026, as well as up to two weekly services from Stansted between May 7 and October 29.
The addition means Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate to 15 airports across Greece in summer next year and comes on the back of "continued demand from UK holidaymakers looking for some Greek sunshine".
Jet2holidays has launched a range of new hotels located across the island to coincide with the launch of flights.
More than 30 hotels between three and five stars are available to book now across six resorts – Samos Town, Kampos, Kokkari, Pythagorion, Karlovasi and Balos.
Samos lies just off the coast of Turkey and is known for its natural landscape, sandy beaches, wine and historic monuments.
A Jet2 spokesperson said visitors to the island can “spend their days lounging by the glittering Aegean Sea, hiking through ancient ruins or enjoying delicious Greek fare at a cosy taverna”.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The launch of Samos for summer 2026 gives holidaymakers and independent travel agents access to this beautiful Greek island and the exclusive chance to enjoy an authentic slice of Greece from Manchester and Stansted.
“We are very pleased to be expanding our presence across Greece by adding this brand new gateway to our portfolio, appealing to holidaymakers looking for a laid-back Greek island experience.
“Offering customers and independent travel agents even more choice, we are also delighted to be adding a selection of hotels available to book now across six stunning resorts.”
