In a revealing and at times emotional interview with Metro UK, Charlotte Flair opened up about being on the disabled list for a year.

‘It was the hardest year I’ve ever had since my brother passed away, and I wouldn’t change anything. It made me realise that I would choose this path again and again and again. It gave me clarity. It gave me perspective. And to go through some of the things that I went through, I think, gives Charlotte a little more edge,” she said.

Reid Flair died from a drug overdose at 25.

Flair revealed that she was destined to work in PR but her brother’s death changed all of that.

‘It wasn’t really until 2012 when I wanted to help my little brother, who had a drug addiction, and all the stars were aligning, and because of his dream, and ended up my dream,” she said.

Flair reflected on missing only two WrestleManias.

‘”One was for having Covid, and now my knee injury, and for some reason, the knee injury feels a little more personal,” she said.

Flair faces WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania. Flair and fellow pro-wrestler Andrade divorced last year.
