DoorDash is teaming up with Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace just in time for the start of spring.
As part of a new partnership announced March 18, the on-demand delivery platform will add the Italian specialty grocery chain’s 11 locations throughout New Jersey and New York to its network.
Founded on Long Island in 1998, Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is known for its high-quality meats, fresh produce, baked goods, international cheeses and pasta. The family-owned grocer is also popular for its prepackaged hot-and-ready meals and self-service counters featuring classic Italian-American favorites, like chicken parmesan and baked ziti.
Locally, the banner has stores in Ramsey, Tinton Falls and Morris Plains.
According to DoorDash, New Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace customers can enjoy 40% off all eligible orders of $55 or more (up to $25) with promo code UNCLEG40 through March 31.
Over the past year, DoorDash has welcomed several other supermarkets with a New Jersey presence to its platform. Additional outlets include Stop & Shop, H Mart, Wegmans, Stew Leonard’s and all Keasbey-based Wakefern Food Corp.-owned banners.
