Hain Celestial Group, the manufacturer of better-for-you brands including Celestial Seasonings tea, Terra chips and Garden of Eatin’ snacks, is relocating its headquarters from New York to New Jersey.

As part of its move this fall into the in , the company said it will adopt a flexible work model to deliver even greater value as a globally integrated enterprise, according to an Aug. 3 press release announcing the new base.

With Hoboken as the hub of its global operations, Hain offices and manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada, Europe and other international locations will serve as “spokes” for employees to come together and collaborate, the company said.

In a statement, Hain Celestial Chief Executive Officer Wendy Davidson said she believes the “hub-and-spoke work model” enables “broader team collaboration and greater connectivity.”

She continued, “It also provides us with the ability to recruit the very best talent, regardless of where they are located.”

Hain Celestial Group's products across snacks, baby/kids, beverages, meal preparation and personal care are marketed and sold in more than 75 countries around the world.

Additionally, the new space on the 12th floor – which features floor-to-ceiling glass windows with sweeping views of New York City – will house Hain’s Innovation Experience Center. The area will be a place for team members, customers and consumers to “immerse themselves” in the company’s products, “explore consumers insights and create innovative opportunities for the future.”

Hain will also continue to leverage research & development labs at its manufacturing facilities for more comprehensive product development and scale.

Davidson went on to say, “Our headquarters decision is among the early actions we are taking to support our multiyear transformation strategy called ‘Hain Reimagined,’ which we will unveil at our Investor Day on Sept. 13.”

Founded in 1993, and making the move from Long Island, Hain Celestial is focused on crafting natural foods and beverages, as well as botanically based personal care products. Its portfolio of brands – which are marketed and sold in over 75 countries – includes Garden Veggies Snacks, Earth’s Best baby foods, Joya plant-based beverages, Greek Gods yogurt, Covent Garden soups, Live Clean personal care products and Alba Botanica natural sun care.

Citing the shift to remote work over the past three years, the company told The Real Deal in April that it is leaving Nassau County because the current office was too big and wanted to find a “ space that is right-sized for our needs.”
