Walmart announces giant upcoming sale event to take on Amazon’s Prime Spring deals

Walmart-spring Super Savings Week event

Yesterday Amazon officially announced its upcoming Prime Spring Deal event, and Walmart has now done much of the same. Just like during Black Friday and Prime Day events, Walmart isn’t going to let Amazon have all of the fun, having now officially announced its upcoming Super Savings Week event to take on Amazon’s upcoming Big Spring Sale. Hey below for the start times and a preview of the deals.

Walmart announces giant upcoming Spring sale – Super Savings Week

The upcoming Amazon Big Spring Sale isn’t exactly an official Prime Day event. But it might as well be – the only real difference is that only some of the deals are secured for paid Prime members and it runs for over a week, from March 25 through to March 31. There are indeed going to be some deals carrying a Prime Spring Deal badge that will only be available for members, but plenty of them won’t and none of them will in the Walmart Super Savings Week event (obviously).

Walmart has now issued an official press release of sorts to members of the media and we are here to give up the goods so you can prep yourself for the upcoming savings.

Walmart will, much like it did for Black Friday 2024, be kicking its spring sale event off ahead of Amazon in hopes of snagging some sales away from the behemoth. Amazon’s sale starts on March 25, and Walmart will be kicking things off one day earlier on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Historically speaking Walmart tends to start these major sale events around 12 noon ET, but there is now specifics in terms of time that we know of just yet. The retailer’s Super Savings Week will run from March 24 through to Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

As far as we know, the sale will consist of online-only deals that will be available on Walmart’s official site – there is no mention of in-store offers here, but it’s hard to believe there won’t be.

Details on the actual upcoming deals are relatively thin, but we do have some official hints and some actual prices that will be up for grabs – the highlight of which might be the $100 price drop coming on the Apple Watch Series 10 42mm model in Jet Black at $299 (that’s matching the lowest price we have tracked to date online).

Walmart also mentions VIZIO and Charbroil offers as well as “major savings on spring-cleaning supplies, including deals on Bissell floorcare items and home essentials for the ultimate spring refresh.”

Here are some of the general upcoming deals followed by some specific price drops that are non the way:
