happy weekend all!

I worked a bit in the 'garden' this past weekend; the agave needed another jar, so this was the perfect moment to put the shoots in separate pots. I wonder if they're going to survive, cause I've removed the greater part of their huge roots. We'll see
The piece of cardboard below is a tribute to the very windy, cold en wet month of May,
However, it was warm & sunny today :^)

and I never get bored of trying out another color combination;

I was trying to make a papertrash collage for
The Charity Exhibition
'Pray for Japan'
I'm still working on it; more photos in my next
post.

... with papertrash :^)





This collage was made for a project which is
already cancelled in the meantime, so I can
show it here. It was meant as some kind of
tutorial; as you can see, it's a city made of papertrash.
I used the same technique as for the mobile boxes,
although there's little technique involved here.

So, here's the secret: throw everything you have on
papertrash on a sheet of paper and move the pieces
till you have the constellation you like, than glue
everything.



I took some parts of the collage for this embroiderie.

... finding a convenient arrangement for my boxes
and stuff; I feel stressed by too much junk;
boxes full of textiles, wools, papers, trash and stuff
that only needs a finishing touch.
It is hard to decide what to do first :-(
So...




...my plan is to complete one cushion a week, do you
remember this one?
I still have three to go :-)
And than...




... I hope to get my mind free so I can continue my
' Age of Discovery' and 'Wormhole' projects :-)
That's my plan.

Tomorrow I will start with the redecoration of my
new home, the moving will be half May I guess :-)




Atelier of Tomie Ohtake.

I finished the pincushion labels today and had
some fun with the leftovers afterwards.
Can't throw away even the smallest piece of paper,
but i'm about drowning in my own trash :-).
I took the same colours for the labels and the
reverses as i did for the cushions.
The backs are two-tone, forgot to make a pic :-(.
