John Finis Philips
John Finis Philips (1834-1919) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
He was nominated by President Grover Cleveland on June 19, 1888. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 25, 1888, and received commission that same day. He retired on June 25, 1910. Philips was succeeded in this position by Arba Seymour Van Valkenburgh.
