Henry Green (Kansas)
Henry Green was a judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals. He assumed office on April 22, 1993. He left office on March 3, 2025.
Green ran for re-election for judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals. He won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
Green was appointed to the court by Democratic Governor Joan Finney.[1][2][3]
Biography
Green graduated from Kansas State University with majors in history and political science in 1972. He received his J.D. in 1975 from the University of Kansas School of Law.[2] Green ran a general law practice from 1975 to 1993. He also worked as a part-time instructor at the National College of Business in Shawnee Mission. In 1979, he became a member of the United States Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the District of Kansas, a position he held until his appointment to the Kansas Court of Appeals.[2]
