"A story about football, love and letting your heart go into overtime."
The classic story of Victor Hugo is revived around the American Football team The Fighting Irish, of the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Crazy (Gabriel Hogan), the big ugly son of coach Les Modeau (Scott Hylands), gets a chance with the team because of his stature. He is horribly bullied and also falls hopelessly in love with Esmerelda (Emmanuelle Vaugier), the quarterback's stunning girlfriend and star of the team.
