Spit plot

After twenty years on the run overseas, ex-con Johnny 'Spit' Spitieri slips back to Australia on a false passport. There, he finds himself locked up in an immigration detention centre with a huge target on his back, as old enemies come looking for him, determined to settle old scores. Struggling to stay one step ahead, the resourceful Spit makes new friends in the detention centre and teaches them his version of friendship and what it means to be truly Australian.
