Crosswinds plot
"RED-HOT SAGA OF THE SOUTH SEAS!"
'Jumbo' Johnson hires Steve Singleton with his boat the 'Seeker' to dive for pearls off the coast of New Guinea. Johnson cheats on Singleton with false licenses and is subsequently sentenced to prison and loses his boat in the process. When released, the now-poor Singleton, along with boat owners Daubrey and Sykes, search for a downed plane carrying a cargo of gold. While searching, the trio rescue one of the plane passengers, the attractive red-haired Katherine Shelley, from headhunters. Then 'Jumbo' Johnson reappears. Shelley leads the four men to the site of the crashed plane. When the gold is salvaged, the battle for division ignites.
